General conditions

Reservations and Cancellations: 

A reservation can be guaranteed either by a prepayment at the time of booking or by providing a creditcard as a guarantee. In the case of the latter option, the hotel reserves the right to automatically debit the full amount of the stay from the specified creditcard 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations must be reported in writing and are subject to cancellation fees. Less than 48 hours before the arrival date: the first night will be charged. 

Group Reservations (5 rooms and above): 
Specific conditions apply to group reservations and are separately agreed upon. 

Group reservations require a deposit as a guarantee: 
Upon final reservation, we will send you a pro forma invoice and request an immediate transfer of a 50% advance payment of the total costs. 

We expect the remaining 50% to be paid no later than 15 days before arrival. Cancellations up to 30 days before the scheduled arrival date are free of charge. For cancellations between 30 days and 15 days before arrival, 50% of the total stay amount will be charged. Cancellations between 15 days before arrival and the day of arrival itself result in a 100% cancellation cost, with the full stay amount being calculated. It is possible to cancel a maximum of 15% of the total number of rooms free of charge, but this must be done no later than 7 days before the day of arrival. In case of a no-show or changes within 7 days before arrival, the cost of the first night will be charged. All cancellations must be communicated in writing. Specific conditions apply to group reservations and are separately agreed upon.

Check-in and Check-out Times: 

  • Check-in: Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM. During busy periods and on weekends, the check-in time may be later, with a maximum of 4:00 PM. 
  • Check-out: Check-out until 11:00 AM. 
  • Late Check-outs: Late check-outs are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply for late check-outs. 


Extra Persons Policy: 

If the correct number of persons is entered during the booking, additional persons are included in the room rate. In the event that the number of persons is not entered correctly during the booking, the following applies: Each additional person will be charged at a rate of €50, including breakfast. 


Quiet Hours: 

There is a quiet period in the hotel between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Guests are kindly requested to consider other guests and limit noise levels during these hours. 


Smoking: 

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the hotel, including rooms and public areas. If these regulations are not followed, a fine of €250 will be implemented. A designated outdoor area is available for smokers. 

 

Liability for Damages: 

Guests are liable for any damage to rooms, furniture, or technical equipment caused by themselves or their visitors. Costs for repair or replacement will be charged to the guest. 

 

Payment Method: 

Payment must be made in full at check-in. Accepted payment methods are Maestro, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. 

 

Pets: 

Bringing dogs is not allowed in the hotel. By making a reservation at Comic Art Hotel, you agree to the above conditions. 

The hotel reserves the right to change these conditions at any time.
