The Comic Art Hotel is located in a low-emission zone.
We strongly recommend checking whether your vehicle is allowed to enter this area:
Directions
If you are not carrying too much luggage, we recommend that you first drive to 1 of the public parkings and then walk to the hotel on foot. This is because the distance from the hotel to the public parkings is greater (due to detours in the car-free zone) than the distance on foot.
If you prefer to drive directly to the hotel, you can simply follow your GPS to the hotel.
Be sure to avoid the little square across from our hotel at all times.
This is called the Lievekaai and there are police cameras on both sides.
Parking
We do not have parking facilities, but we can recommend the following public car parks:
- Parking ‘Ramen P8’ (2 km by car and 600 meter on foot from the hotel) – 14 euros per 24 hours.
- Parking ‘Vrijdagsmarkt P1’ (1,6 km by car and 400 meter on foot from the hotel) – 26 euros per 24 hours.

By Public Transportation
Getting there from the train station Gent Sint Pieters:
- Take Tram 1 towards Wondelgem-Evergem and after about 15 minutes get off at the Gravensteen stop. Then you only have to walk another 100 meters by turning left at the main entrance of Gravensteen into the Geldmunt, then the first street left (at the tattoo shop) and then 25 meters further the first street right. Our hotel is then located at Augustijnenkaai 2, on your right.
Our team of reception staff will then be happy to welcome you.
We sell day tickets and 10-ride tickets from De Lijn at the reception desk.
